The ambience gradually turns to autumn through Van Thanh Pham’s oil painting The Season of Changing Leaves, depicting an old tree shedding its leaves. The natural process of autumn was refreshed through a semi-abstract style, with emphasis on definite lines and flat shapes. The colour-blocking style, using orange, yellow, green and purple as the primary colours, generates an impressive visual effect. The graphic quality of The Season of Changing Leaves forms a harmonious interaction with the sculptures of Nhu Y Nguyen and Hung Giang Nguyen, also displayed in the fourth-floor gallery space.
