Transportation to Sapa

Many young people who are passionate about traveling will choose to travel by motorbike with a distance of nearly 400km. The road to Sapa has many mountain passes with winding, winding roads, with this form you take a lot of time, good health and hard handlebars to go this way.
For those of you who choose this form, you can choose in the following directions:
Option 1: Hanoi – Vinh Phuc – Viet Tri – Phong Chau – Doan Hung – Yen Bai – Lao Cai – Sapa (Total road about 360km)
Option 2: Hanoi – Hoa Lac – Son Tay – Trung Ha Bridge – Phong Chau Bridge – Phong Chau – Doan Hung – along Road 70 – Lao Cai – Sapa (Total road 370km)
Option 3: Hanoi – Hoa Lac – Son Tay – Thanh Son – Along NH32 – Sapa (Total road more than 420km)
Take the passenger car
If you ride a bed, the price ranges from 230k – 280k / person / way. Take the bus to Sapa only 8 – 9 hours. Traveling by passenger car has the advantage of saving time, but in the rainy season it can be hindered by many bumpy passes from Lao Cai to Sapa.

Go by train
First, everyone can understand that going to Sapa by train will be much safer than going by bus or car. But there are 2 disadvantages that if you take the Sapa train, it will go slower than the car and the train only arrives at Lao Cai city station. From here to continue to Sapa tourist area is still 30-40km away, so you have to go by motorbike (motorbike taxi) or bus, or taxi.
However, if people are not used to sleeping on buses, bus beds and being car sick, the train to Sapa is a right choice (also to experience).
The place to buy Sapa train tickets directly is Hanoi station at the gate of Tran Quy Cap street to Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam because this is the door to sell tickets for Hanoi trains going to the North. Trains have many types of seats such as soft chairs, hard seats, air-conditioned beds … with hard seats priced at about 150k / ticket / person, while soft seats are 280k / person. There are usually 2 types of trains, SP (fast) and LC (slow), departing from Hanoi Railway Station in the evening (7:00 pm – 10:00 pm) and arriving at Lao Cai Railway Station in the early morning (5:00 am-7:00am).
Take a taxi

Option 1: To Sapa, rent a motorbike for about 120k / car / day (not including gas money), you can drive by yourself around the tourist attractions in Sapa.
Option 2: Rent a motorbike motorbike taxi to drive to some famous tourist destinations, only 100k for 4-5 tourist destinations in Sapa close to each other.
Option 3: You can book a Sapa tour of the service providers in Sapa. Or if you do not know, you can ask the hotel or local people to know more about this service.
